What We Build

๐Ÿ›๏ธ

Retail & Product AR

AR product visualization for e-commerce and in-store retail. Shoppers see products at scale in their space using their phone โ€” higher conversion, fewer returns. ARKit and ARCore native, or WebAR for no-install experiences.

๐ŸŽจ

Museum & Cultural AR

Interactive AR and mixed-media installations for museums and cultural spaces. Our Meet Eva Here project for ArtScience Museum Singapore is a large-format AI-avatar installation that tracks visitor gestures in real time.

๐Ÿ“ข

Brand Activations & Campaigns

AR social filters, WebAR landing pages, and branded marker-based experiences for experiential marketing campaigns. Designed to drive shareability, dwell time, and measurable campaign ROI.

๐ŸŽ“

Educational AR

AR learning tools for classrooms, museums, and training programs. Combines marker-based triggers with rich 3D content that reinforces concepts better than a textbook image or video.

๐Ÿ“

Location-Based AR

Geolocated AR experiences for tourism, events, and outdoor activations. GPS-triggered content overlays that turn physical locations into interactive experiences.

๐Ÿข

Enterprise AR

AR remote assistance, field-service overlays, and training applications for industrial and enterprise teams. Integrates with existing asset management and knowledge-base systems.

Case Study Spotlight

Meet Eva Here โ€” ArtScience Museum Singapore

Problem. Artist Shavonne Wong and ArtScience Museum Singapore wanted to transform a passive exhibit into an interactive experience that responded to visitors in real time โ€” under a tight exhibition deadline.

Solution. Virtual Verse Studio partnered with Shavonne Wong to build an AI-powered avatar installed at ArtScience Museum Singapore. Displayed on a large screen, the avatar tracks and interacts with visitors via gesture and movement tracking โ€” turning passive viewing into active participation.

Technology. Unity real-time runtime, gesture and motion tracking pipeline, AI avatar system, large-format display integration.

Outcome. Increased engagement and transformed passive museum viewing into active participation, delivered on exhibition deadline.

"The Unity build worked as intended, thanks to Virtual Verse Studio. The team was very responsive and quick at delivering, and internal stakeholders praised the service provider's accessibility and work culture." โ€” Meet Eva Here stakeholder, via Clutch

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does AR app development cost?

AR app development ranges from five-figure WebAR experiences to six-figure enterprise AR platforms. A marker-based WebAR campaign can ship in 4โ€“8 weeks; a full native ARKit/ARCore application with backend integration takes 3โ€“5 months. Scope drives cost โ€” number of AR scenes, 3D asset quality, and backend integration complexity are the biggest levers.

WebAR vs native ARKit/ARCore โ€” which should we choose?

WebAR (browser-based) wins when reach matters more than fidelity: no app install, works on most recent phones, low-friction for marketing campaigns and retail product try-ons. Native AR (ARKit or ARCore app) wins when you need best-in-class tracking, occlusion, lighting estimation, or persistent AR โ€” typical for museum installations, training tools, or flagship brand experiences.

Can AR work without an app install?

Yes, using WebAR. The user scans a QR code or taps a link, and the AR experience loads directly in Safari or Chrome โ€” no install required. Reach is higher but some advanced features (occlusion, persistent anchors) are more limited than native.

What kinds of AR tracking do you support?

Marker-based (image or logo detection), markerless plane detection, face tracking (for try-on and social filters), body tracking, object detection, geolocation-based AR, and SLAM-based persistent AR. We select the right combination per project.

Can you integrate AR with our e-commerce platform?

Yes. We support integration with Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, and custom e-commerce backends for AR product visualization, try-on, and checkout-connected AR experiences.

Do you provide maintenance and content updates after launch?

Every project we deliver includes lifetime technical support. Optional retainers cover new 3D asset additions, iOS/Android version compatibility, and feature expansions as the AR SDKs evolve.
