You and your rival start on opposite edges of a 9×9 board, and the first to reach the far side wins. Take a step toward it, or put a wall in their way.

Yes. Step It is free to download on iPhone, iPad and Android, with optional in-app purchases.
Can I play offline?
Yes. Practice against the AI on Easy, Normal or Hard, and try the Event Lab, with no connection. Ranked, casual and friendly duels are played online.
How do I play a friend?
Open Friendly Duel, create a room and share its six-character code. Your friend enters it on their own phone and the duel begins.
Can a wall trap me?
Never. A wall can slow anyone down but never shut them in: there is always a way through, and finding it first is the whole game.
Do I need an account?
No. There’s no sign-up. Open the game and play.
