Meet Eva Here — an AR avatar that reacts to the room

Artist Shavonne Wong and ArtScience Museum Singapore wanted to turn a passive exhibit into a live, responsive experience — on a tight exhibition deadline. We built an AI-powered avatar on a large-format display that tracks visitor gesture and movement in real time, turning passive viewing into active participation.

The Unity build worked as intended, thanks to Virtual Verse Studio. The team was very responsive and quick at delivering.

How much does AR app development cost?
AR app development ranges from five-figure WebAR experiences to six-figure enterprise AR platforms. A marker-based WebAR campaign can ship in 4–8 weeks; a full native ARKit/ARCore application with backend integration takes 3–5 months. Scope drives cost — number of AR scenes, 3D asset quality, and backend integration complexity are the biggest levers.

Can AR work without an app install?
