Who we are
Virtual Verse Studio builds immersive VR, AR, 3D-web and AI products. This page covers the website at virtualverse.studio. Questions, or a request to delete your data, go to contact@virtualverse.studio and we will action them.
Analytics and session recording
We use PostHog to understand how people use this site, hosted in the United States. It is the only analytics tool we run — we do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site trackers, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
PostHog collects:
- Pages you visit, links and buttons you click, and how far you scroll through an article.
- Where you reach in our scroll-driven 3D journeys, and how long each part holds your attention.
- Technical information about your device — browser, operating system, screen size, approximate location derived from your IP address, and whether your hardware can run the 3D experience at all.
- Page performance timings, so we can find and fix the pages that load slowly for real visitors.
- A session recording: a reconstruction of your visit showing page content, cursor movement, scrolling and clicks.
What recordings never contain. Everything you type into a form is masked before it leaves your browser — your name, email address and message are replaced with placeholder characters in the recording and are never transmitted to PostHog as part of it. The 3D canvas is not recorded either.
PostHog sets a cookie in your browser so that repeat visits are recognised as the same person. Analytics requests are served from our own domain, so blocking them requires blocking the site itself — if you would rather not be measured, use your browser's Do Not Track or private-browsing mode, or email us and we will delete your data.
The consultation form
If you submit the “book a consultation” form, you send us your name, email address and message. That goes to our studio inbox so we can reply, and you receive a confirmation email. We keep it for as long as we are in conversation with you and for our business records afterwards. We do not add you to a marketing list.
When you successfully submit that form, we associate your email address with your analytics record, so that we can see what you were reading before you got in touch and answer you better. If you would prefer we did not, say so in your message — or email us at any time — and we will remove it.
The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are not a bot. Cloudflare processes limited technical data to do that. We use it in its least intrusive mode: it stays invisible unless it needs you to confirm you are human.
Other services on this page
- Amazon Web Services — delivers the consultation email. It sees your form submission in order to send it.
- Amazon CloudFront — hosts our project films. Your browser contacts it only if you press play.
- Vercel — hosts the site and keeps standard server logs.
Embedded YouTube links and links to LinkedIn, Clutch, WhatsApp and similar are ordinary links. Following one takes you to that company, under their privacy policy, not ours.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — the UK and EU in particular — you have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to our analytics. Email contact@virtualverse.studio. We do not require an account or a form; a plain email is enough, and we will not ask you to justify the request.
Changes
If we change what we collect, we will update this page and the date at the top. This is a description of our actual practice, not a legal template — if something here does not match what you observe on the site, please tell us.
