Overview

Goldhorn is an immersive 3D e-commerce website we built as a studio demo for a premium meat delivery brand in Cairo — the consumer-facing side of a B2B supplier to Egypt’s top hotels and restaurants. Restaurant-grade beef, veal and poultry, 100% natural and Halal, presented not as a flat product grid but as a crafted interactive storefront: specialty ranges to explore, house favourites to browse, and a one-tap WhatsApp order at every step.

It is our working answer to a question premium retail brands keep asking: what does a D2C store look like when it is designed to make you feel the quality of the product before you buy?

The Challenge

Premium food is bought on trust and appetite — and a conventional template store communicates neither:

  • Restaurant-grade cuts sold from the same flat grid as commodity groceries read as commodity groceries. The presentation has to carry the quality story.
  • The brand’s real credibility — supplying Egypt’s top hotels and restaurants, Ministry of Agriculture approval, named international farms — needed to surface without turning the page into a wall of claims.
  • Cairo customers order food in chat, not in checkout funnels. The store had to convert through WhatsApp with zero friction — no app, no account, no forms.

Our Solution

  • An immersive storefront, not a gridthe whole brand unfolds as one continuous 3D web experience — hero, “Why Goldhorn” pillars, delivery promise, ranges and favourites — with macro product photography and interactive showcase moments doing the selling.
  • Specialty ranges as a journeysix sourced ranges (South African Angus young beef, grass-fed beef, milk-fed Dutch veal, Egyptian Baladi, cut-to-order whole cuts, Australian lamb) presented as an explorable carousel, each with its own “Ask about this cut” conversation starter.
  • WhatsApp-first conversionevery call to action lands in a WhatsApp chat — the channel Cairo customers already buy through — backed by a same-day / express / next-day delivery promise per district.
  • Performance disciplinebuilt on Next.js with optimized images and a lean interactive layer, so the immersive presentation stays fast on mobile connections — where most WhatsApp orders start.

Key Features

  • Interactive 3D web storefront — runs in any browser, no install
  • Six specialty ranges with sourcing stories and per-cut inquiry CTAs
  • House favourites line-up: ribeye, rump, escalope, mince, kofta, meatballs
  • WhatsApp-first ordering with district-based delivery promises
  • Trust layer: B2B hotel-supplier heritage, Halal and Ministry of Agriculture approval, bilingual customer testimonials
  • Next.js image optimization and mobile-first performance budget

Results & Impact

Goldhorn is live as a studio demonstration of immersive 3D e-commerce done right: a premium brand story, an explorable product showcase and a zero-friction chat-commerce funnel in one fast page. It is the reference we show retail and F&B brands who want their online store to sell the way their product tastes — and the starting point we build from when they do.
